01 / Project scope
Define what the material needs to do.
ZEODRY is DEZEO's fluorine-free water-repellent finishing ingredient brand. Buyers evaluating a ZEODRY route should provide the fabric construction, processing conditions and target tests, then request the current grade-specific documents and a sample-validation plan. Suitability for a particular fabric must be established through project testing.
This guide defines the project questions. It does not publish or infer a product grade, dosage, curing window, wash-cycle claim or PFAS compliance result.

Fiber blend, woven or knitted construction, fabric weight, color and pretreatment.

Finishing or coating route, equipment, drying and curing conditions, and existing auxiliaries.

Retain sample identity, document version, method and conditions. A result should not be transferred to another substrate, construction, batch or market without an appropriate review.

Questions to resolve before selection.
Does fluorine-free DWR make an outdoor garment waterproof?
No. A surface water-repellent finish and finished-garment waterproofness are different properties. Membranes, coatings, laminates and seams must be assessed with the applicable construction and test method.
How should buyers select a ZEODRY grade for sportswear?
Provide the fabric, pretreatment, processing route, target performance, wash protocol and destination market. Request the current TDS and SDS for the proposed grade and validate it on the actual fabric before approving a selection.
Can a fluorine-free label alone confirm every PFAS requirement?
No. A fluorine-free description does not by itself establish compliance with every customer or regulatory PFAS definition. The named product, declaration, analytical scope and intended market must be reviewed together.
