Fluorine-free scope
The ZEODRY routes shown here are positioned for fluorine-free water-repellent finishing.
Ingredient brand / Fluorine-free
ZEODRY organizes fluorine-free water-repellent finishing around the textile, process and required end use. The right grade is selected through application testing, not a universal performance promise.
What ZEODRY is
ZEODRY sits within the DEZEO brand and sales system. It focuses on water-repellent finishing chemistry and related auxiliaries for textile processing, while product suitability remains grade-, substrate- and process-specific.
The ZEODRY routes shown here are positioned for fluorine-free water-repellent finishing.
Fabric construction, hand feel, durability, coating and downstream processing change the recommendation.
Crosslinkers, softeners, antistatic and wetting agents support the finishing route where appropriate.
Current TDS, SDS and test evidence are supplied by product, region and document version.
Product manual: development routes
The grade names below summarize routes recorded in the ZEODRY product manual. They are not public performance guarantees; technical review and trials remain necessary.
For projects where water repellency must be balanced with a softer touch and reduced visible hand marks.
A route developed around retained performance after laundering and line drying, subject to the specified fabric and process.
For projects targeting a higher surface water-repellency level under demanding exposure conditions.
For fabrics that continue into coating, bonding or lamination and therefore require adhesion compatibility review.
Routes developed for projects concerned with seam slippage or fabric movement alongside repellency.
For yarn, webbing and textile structures where capillary water migration is the primary problem.
A development route for selected projects requiring more than water repellency alone.
Product development oriented toward increased bio-based content while maintaining application relevance.
Starting points for common textile finishing projects before substrate and process screening.
Supporting chemistry
A water-repellent grade may need compatible auxiliaries. Their use depends on the formulation, fabric, process and target.
Supporting crosslinking routes for selected finishing systems.
Hand-feel adjustment where compatibility has been evaluated.
Antistatic and wetting support for applicable processing needs.
Trial preparation
Provide the original substrate and the real process window. ZEODRY selection is strongest when evaluation reproduces the intended production conditions.
Fiber blend, weave or knit, weight, shade and prior finishing.
Bath recipe, pickup, drying, curing and equipment limits.
Coating, lamination, printing, washing or other later processes.
Requested method, durability sequence, destination market and customer requirement.
Document control
Product availability, specifications and supporting evidence can change by market and revision. Use the controlled document supplied for the exact grade under evaluation.
ZEODRY products are described as solutions for water-repellent finishing. This should not be generalized as a waterproofing agent or interpreted as a waterproof fabric guarantee.
ZEODRY application review
Send the substrate, process, target test and downstream operations. The technical team can then propose a relevant starting route and trial plan.
